First day of school (1st Grade)

After school, we went to Chuck e Cheese and talked about school. Kaiya loves her teacher Mrs. Renaud and was glad to see her friends after the summer break.

Summer 09

Kaiya is spending the summer in Oklahoma and she is having a great time visiting family and playing with her cousins. Here are some pics from her 6th Birthday party and her first fishing trip. She caught 2 fish!!

Friday at the pool....

Today we hung out at the pool and listened to music and then we went to dinner at Red, Hot & Blue (my favorite) Such a beautiful day! The water is still a little chilly but she braved it : )

As for the posing pic.....this week she came home from school with a picture of herself when she grows up...apparently she wants to be a super model!! I love it : ) Last month she wanted to be a waitress...LOL

Kaiya says, "her favorite part of the day was making a watermelon with star word seeds and getting to see my mom".......awe : )

Mom says, "my favorite part of the day was going shoe shopping with my favorite girl". Today started off a little rough but you have to love the little things that turn it all around....some people have a smile that you just can't help but smile back.
